Committee’s Responsibilities

The Chapter Technology Transfer Committee (CTTC) is responsible for promoting the transfer and practical application of HVAC&R technology, knowledge, standards, and best practices within the ASHRAE Nigeria Chapter.

The Committee serves as a technical knowledge-sharing platform for members and industry stakeholders by facilitating technical presentations, seminars, workshops, training programs, technical tours and other educational activities. It also supports the dissemination of current ASHRAE technologies, standards, research findings, and industry best practices to HVAC&R professionals, students, academics, consultants, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.

The CTTC will work closely with other Chapter committees to strengthen technical engagement and ensure that ASHRAE knowledge is effectively transferred to the Nigerian HVAC&R community.

The CTTC is responsible for:-
  • Coordinating dissemination of technical information in the chapter’s geographical area.

  • Promoting and administering the chapter’s Technology Awards program and encouraging entries in the regional            competitions.

  • Keeping the chapter informed on technical issues related to HVAC & R.​

  • Assisting the RVC – CTTC to achieve the goals of Society at the chapter level.

  • Reporting to the RVC for the Chapter Technology Transfer Committee
