Committee Goals

  1. Exceed the Society & RAL-assigned membership growth target for the Nigeria Chapter.
  2. Grow the student membership base by chartering new student branches and reactivating delinquent/cancelled students.
  3. Build a stronger volunteer base to drive membership growth across the Chapter’s geography.
  4. Improve the quality and completeness of member communication and data.
  5. Increase Advancements, Reinstatements or Rejoin, YEA representation, and women’s participation within the Chapter.

Duties and Responsibilities of Membership Promotion Committee include:-
  • Attracting New members who will be active in the Society, locallly and/ or at the Society level

  • Encouraging membership from all segment of the industry

  • Encouraging advancement of higher grades of membership when candidates qualifications meet the specified requirement

  • Organizing and executing membership drives, including encouraging participation from local consulting firms

  • Cooperating with and seeking advice from the RVC- MP

  • Collaborating with Students Activities Committee and Young Engineers in ASHRAE Committee to encourage Student to retain their memberships when they graduate
